In this English listening skills podcast you’ll practise listening to real conversations about friends and family. There are eight different speakers in this audio lesson and you’ll hear accents from North America as well as speakers from the north, south and west of England. There is an expression in English, ‘You can choose your friends, but you can’t choose your family’. Listen and see if our speakers feel the same. It’s also a good opportunity to review some common family and relationship vocabulary.
